02/2008 - Starting February 18, 2008 - NUCLEAR DENSITY GAUGE CALIBRATION AND REPAIR SERVICES
MJW Technical Services, Inc. (MJWTS) is proud to announce that it has joined forces with Qal-Tek Associates LLC, the premier nuclear density gauge calibration and repair service provider for the western United States. MJWTS will now be providing calibration and repair services for nuclear density gauges in the northeastern United States to compliment Qal-Tek’s western US service area. One of the unique services MJWTS will be providing is calibration and maintenance of the density gauges directly at the customer’s facility saving both instrument down time and lost revenue. MJWTS will be providing the following additional services for density gauge owners:

- Radioactive Material License Audits
- Gauge Parts and Accessories
- Training
- Gauge Disposal
02/2008 - MJWTS is Named a Recommended Dosimeter Service Center by SAIC
MJWTS is now equipped with the specialized service equipment and spare parts inventory required for complete repair and calibration of all SAIC dosimeters. Our technicians have received formal factory training and are ready to calibrate, service, and repair your SAIC dosimeters.
Our facility is a full service state-of-the-art operation with highly qualified technicians. We not only calibrate SAIC dosimeters but all other manufacturer’s dosimeters as well.

03/2007 – Instrument Calibrations on Meteoric Rise
MJWTS has seen over a 1000% increase in our radiological instrument calibration business since January of 2006. The calibration business continues to grow weekly with the addition of new customers and established customers who continue to return their instruments for calibration and repair. The fact that MJWTS is the “only” authorized Ludlum Measurements Service Center in the US has been a big factor in the success of the instrument calibration business thus far and should certainly be beneficial to MJWTS in the future.
12/2006 – MJWTS Completes NTS-WAC Compliance Audit at the WVDP
MJWTS Quality Assurance Lead Auditor, Linda Lund, and a contracted auditor performed the Nevada Test Site – Waste Acceptance Criteria compliance audit at the West Valley Demonstration Project on December 16, 17 and 18. During the course of the audit all facets of the WAC were examined for compliance. The West Valley Demonstration Project is located approximately 35 miles south of Buffalo, NY and is the former site of the NFS spent fuel reprocessing plant. The Department of Energy and NYSERDA are the current regulators of the WVDP.
